Cool Mist Machines
The cool mist machine is one of the lowest-profile but most-used devices in a salon: it never sells at a high price, yet it decides the “finishing experience” after every intensive step. MAKGRAC places it in the standard facial workflow — this page covers its three uses and selection.
Principle and experience
A cool mist machine breaks water into micron-level mist by ultrasound or high pressure, chills it with semiconductor cooling and mists it onto the face — immediate cooling and soothing. Finer mist particles and steadier output mean a better experience — this is where the CRYO-MIST differs from entry machines.
Three uses
- Sensitive-skin soothing: make cool mist the core soothing step for redness-prone clients to reduce stimulation
- Program finishing: 5 minutes of cool mist after cleansing, infusion or light therapy turns “done” into “done comfortably”
- Standalone cool-care experience: a summer “cool mist hydration” light program — low price, high turnover
Selection points
Mist particle size and output stability, tank capacity and runtime, and hygiene design of the nozzle — check these three before price.
